Die Vorwahl von A1 ist bei Chinesen unbeliebt. Die Zahl Vier bringt Unglück, so der Aberglaube.
Mit Zahlen ist in China nicht zu Spaßen. Manche gelten als Glücksbringer, andere als Vorboten von Unheil. „Die Zahl Vier wird wegen der Aussprache mit dem Tod gleichgesetzt“ sagt Frau Liu. Weiteres Indiz: im Anzeigeteil der chinesischen Zeitung „Huaxinbao Europe“ die in Wien herausgegeben wird, sind unter hunderten Nummern kaum welche mit A1-Vorwahl.
Erfreulich für die Konkurrenz ist die Bedeutung der Nummern Sechs, Acht und Neun. Deren Aussprache bedeutet positive Dinge. Am beliebtesten ist aber die Zahl Acht. Sie klingt wie „bevorstehender Reichtum“ und ist deshalb in fast jeder Telefonnummer zu finden. Verrückt: In China werden zum Teil fünfstellige Eurobeträge bezahlt, um eine Acht im Autokennzeichen zu ergattern.
Warum der chinesische Milliardenmarkt für A1 trotzdem nicht verloren ist, liegt an der Glückszahl der Billigmarke bob. „Mit der Vorwahl 0680 bieten wir für alle eine Alternative“ sagt Livia Dandrea, Pressesprecherin von A1.
