Die Kroaten haben die Engländer aus der EM gekickt. Bei der EM 08 werden die Kroaten wohl auch den österreichischen Kickern das Fürchten lehren. In allen drei übrigen Ländern der Gruppe B- Kroatien, Deutschland und Polen - machen sich nicht nur die Boulevardzeitungen über uns lustig. Die Kroaten sind unter den Favoriten für den EM-Titel. Wer sie kennt weiß, dass die ordentlich reinbeissen können, wenn es um was geht. Schon bei der WM 1998, wo sie die Deutschen auf den vierten Platz verwiesen haben, haben sie das bewiesen. Alles erinnert an den Kampf David gegen Goliath. Aber egal in Wien wird auf ziemlich sicher gefeiert werden. Wenn nicht in der ganzen Stadt, dann uumindest auf der Balkanstraße.

Ich freu mich schon auf die Bad Blue Boys, die berühmt berüchtigten Fussballanhänger aus Zagreb, die haben ja schon im Sommer in Kärnten bewiesen, dass sie gute Gäste sein können.

bei solchen "fans" von gästen zu sprechen ist wohl ziemlich falsch am platz, schliesslich sind gäste ja erwünscht und willkommen, was man von dieser horde ja absolut nicht behaupten kann!

Das mit der ironie ist bei einem text, wo man den autor nicht kennt is ja so eine sache, hätte ja auch genauso gut zynismus sei können.
